I’m so excited, I want to announce my 1st children’s eBook, Bucca Comes Home, about our so-loved Newfie Bucca. This has been in the works for a while, but I finally found an incredibly talented artist (and friend), Brenda Salomé Salamone, to bring the art to life. Now available on Amazon for Kindle, I hope to get a print version ready soon. I just wanted to share. If you are kind enough to get a copy of the book, please write an Amazon review if you enjoyed the book, I would appreciate your input.
Have a great weekend,

About the Author
Ellen Crane, author of 10 Steps to a Happier You, and the children’s book, Bucca Comes Home (A Newfoundland’s Tale), lives in her home state, the great state of Texas, with her Husband of “a little over 5 years”, and yes, that’s a joke. The Cranes can often be found boating on a local lake during warm weather.
Ellen Crane has always enjoyed writing for numerous projects for magazines and newsletters. After having ideas for books in her head for years, she’s now devoting time to writing and publishing.
A lifelong gardener, she particularly enjoys growing orchids, as well as reading, crochet, dollhouse miniatures and model trains. Sadly, the 4pack of Newfoundland dogs have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but Ellen & Husband look forward to starting a new puppy pack soon.

It's that time of year!!
NANOWRIMO…. “National Novel Writing Month”, a hazy, crazy month is upon us. It starts tonight at midnight, join us if you will. It’s a great way to get all those creative stories (long or short), books, novels or any other kind of writing out of your head and down on paper. The point is to just write – 50,000 works in 30 days. WOW… did I just say that? Help me!!! No rewrites, no consideration, just straight writing whatever comes into your head and onto the paper, computer,.. whatever. It comes out to about 1,600 works a day, for 30 days.
Anyway, even thought I’m working and taking classes to finish up my degree, I’m in on this insanely fun event. If you are interested, just pop over to NANOWRIMO and get all the scoop. There is a whole staff and community waiting to help you, support you and commiserate with you (and me, of course).
I have my outline, I have my food, healthy snacks and 5 hour energy ready to go.
I will try to keep up with posting my progress,
Thanks so much!! Hugs,

Time for lazing in the sun and enjoying the beauty of the island. I think these pics are getting posted Thursday morning. We’ll be heading out for our trip back late this afternoon and I’m not sure we’ll get a chance to write again before we get home. Thursday night and Friday will be travel days, so we’ll catch back up on the later side when we get home. We truly enjoyed our trip.. it’s a once in a lifetime experience. I hope you’ve enjoyed letting us share a bit of Tahiti and BoraBora with you, I hope you get to see if for yourselves soon.
I have no idea what this beautiful flower is, but I just love it. The petals were almost transparent.
These flowers grow in bunches in colors of yellows, oranges, whites and red are on a tree similar to a mimosa. I’ll have to research it when we get home so I’ll know what it is.
Another Hibiscus… of course.
A bougenvillia … there are even hedges made of bougainvillea here.
Poolside, so peaceful and serene.
Oops there’s me.
Purple & White Bougainvillea
Some lovely purple and white bougainvillea.
Finally, a lovely sunset picture… Good Night Bora Bora, we’ve loved being here.. Hugs.. Ellen
